From Atterbury's collection, Op. 3, published posthumously for his widow.
Lyrics: Anon

Weep, all ye muses, o'er Lothario's bier;
He's gone, alas, O tell it with a tear.
Come melancholy, ever pensive maid,
That loves to haunt the lone sequestered shade;
By gently murm'ring stream with thee alone I'll stray,
And tune to notes of woe the mournful lay.
