Pub. 1805. Other rondos by Saffery take the form of medleys, rather than pieces with a single theme. That is also the case here, although the only allusions currently identified are to "The Irish washerwoman" and to "Oh dear, what can the matter be?".

Originally titled "Rural felicity", this tune was adopted into the folk tradition under the name "Haste to the wedding", after being coupled with a particularly popular set of verses.
