From Cantionum sacrarum (part one), Jena, 1602.
Lyrics: Anon

Great battle was joined in heaven.
Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, yet did not prevail, nor was sufficient space found for them in heaven.
And the dragon was cast out, that serpent of old named a devil and Satan, who tempted the whole world.
He was cast out onto the earth, and his angels with him also.
And I heard a great voice saying: In heaven are now consolidated safety and strength and the dominion of our God and the power of Christ, for he is cast out that persecuted our brothers, he that accused them in the sight of our God, both by day and by night; yet they vanquished him by the blood and the intercession
of the Lamb, and rejected his spirit all the way to death.
Therefore the heavens rejoice, and those that dwell therein.
