Hodie Christus natus est nobis: hodie Salvator apparuit:
Hodie in terra canunt angeli, lætantur archangeli:
Hodie exultant justi, dicentes:
Gloria in altissimis Deo, et in terra pax
hominibus bona voluntas. Alleluia.

Christ is born to us today: today the saviour appeared:
The angels sing on earth today, archangels rejoice.
Today the righteous rejoice, saying:
"Glory be to God on high,
and in earth peace, goodwill to all men. Alleluia".
