Ypres lasses are most bonny
And are happy of heart when spinsters;
Cute-bodied with round baps,
Glad eyes, ever laughing;
An attractive mouth so pleasing;
An appropriate bonnet,
Big hair, and when walking,
They step out on tiptoe; a shimmying body
Is a fine thing, upon my soul.
I pray to Venus that one of them will be my wife.
