Contemporary arrangement (B. Lib. add. m.s. 17786-91, f.7) of a popular tune appearing in many sources, including early editions of Playford's "Dancing Master". This arrangement is c.1605; a keyboard version appears in the Fitzwilliam virginal book, where the arrangement (and possibly the tune itself) is attributed to Giles Farnaby.
