Lyrics: Anon

Videns Christum in patibulo
potatum fellis poculo,
memor esto pietatis
quare salvum fecit gratis.
Et post Christum feras crucem
sic habebis ipsum ducem
ad sempiterna gaudia
et caelorum curia.

Seeing Christ on the cross,
with a draught of gall from a cup,
be mindful of that pity
which gave healing without obligation.
So, after you take Christ from the cross,
you will have that same guide
to eternal joys,
and to the courts of heaven.
