L'autre jour de bon matin,
Je rencontrai Guillemette
Au dessus d'un pèlerin,
Qui rafraîchait sa musette.
"Hé, dieu",dit la fillette,
"Gigue pèlerin, la chose est tant doucette".

So one fine morning the other day,
I encounter Guillemette,
On top of this pilgrim,
Who's working on his piping.
"O.m.g." says the girl,
"Caper and firk it traveller, that's nice!"
