Earth soaks up the waters;
a tree imbibes them through its roots.
The vast seas absorb the winds,
and the sun drinks up the ocean.
The sun is swallowed up by the moon.
All things quaff, from high to low;
so, in deference to this universal law,
Why don't we have a wet?
Earth soaks up the waters;
a tree imbibes them through its roots.
The vast seas absorb the winds,
and the sun drinks up the ocean.
The sun is swallowed up by the moon.
All things quaff, from high to low;
so, in deference to this universal law,
Why don't we have a wet?
