Publ. 1798. Jones was an early collector and recorder of Welsh folk music. The country dance tunes here are from bordering counties. Two are recorded as early as the first edition of Playford's Dancing Master, and throughout the eighteenth century, and were arranged by Edwards, with variations, for the harp. The third tune, without variations, is perrhaps composed by Edwards himself.
