Printed for the Author by John Cox, at Simpsons Musick Shop in Sweeting's Alley Royal Exchange & Sold by the Author at his House in South-Audley Street Grosvenor Square [c. 1750]. Bates was a composer and singing master, known principally for his songs for theatres and the pleasure gardens.
