Overture - 2. Saraband - 3. Minuet - 4. Jigg - 5. Gavot - 6. Round O - 7. March - 8. Minuet Round O
"A set of ayres for two flut's and a bass", pub. London, c.1700. Little is known of Simons beyond this and a couple of similar collections published in the first decade of the eighteenth century. These pieces are perhaps best realised on treble recorders, and the bass line is most suitable for a wind instrument (bassoon), although violoncello could be used.
