Formed for revels and delight;
Formed sublimest joys to choose,
Season chose for wine and love.
Slumber still, ye sons of care,
Doomed the toils of life to share.
Partners of my social bowl,
Wake to bliss th'enchanted soul;
Fill the sparkling goblet higher,
Rouse, O rouse the dormant fire.
