Lyrics: Anon

With the juice of the grape and the full-flowing bowl,
Let's cherish the heart and enliven the soul;
Leave thinking and dullness to every elf,
Who in misery languishes, watching his pelf.
Then fill a bumper, fill it high,
We'll the cares of life defy.
Let naught our happiness annoy;
But may all noble souls enjoy
Uncontrolled by time or measure,
Days of ease and nights of pleasure.
