Dimpled pleasure, ever gay,
Parent of the jocund hour,
Hither wing thy wanton way,
Here thy choicest blessings shower.
High to thee the bowl we'll raise;
Ev'ry song shall sound thy praise;
For to thee alone belong
Flowing bowls and festive song.
Now that youth and health are ours,
Let us cull life's fairest flowers,
Sip their sweets, and while 'tis May,
Bear the honied prize away.
