Lyrics: Latin antiphon

Videntes stellam magi gavisi sunt gaudio magno.
Et intrantes domum invenerunt puerum
cum Maria matre eius et procidentes adoraverunt eum:
et apertis thesauris suis obtulerunt ei munera,
aurum, thus et myrrham.
Reges Tharsis et insulae munera offerent,
reges Arabum et Saba dona adducent:
et apertis thesauris suis obtulerunt ei munera,
aurum, thus et myrrham.

When the magi saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child
with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him:
and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto the Lord
gold, and frankincense and myrrh.
The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents:
the kings of Sheba and Seba shall bring gifts:
and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto the Lord
gold, and frankincense and myrrh.
