So the day after the nuptials, we've come to see
Whether the bride has been worked to death.
Then we want to know from the groom
How often he's banged on the door.
"Eight times", says he, " and if I recollect correctly,
It was all down to me -
I didn't leave her bed".
"Doh!" she says, mercilessly,
"He's a liar who's lost the plot,
'Cause I did at least half the job".
