This example of Child's most simple style was printed in Boyce's Cathedral Music. The Hallelujah appears to be a floating verse. It is also to be found in Child's coronation anthem "O Lord, grant the Queen a long life".
Lyrics: Psalm 103, v.1-4, 21

Praise the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me praise his holy Name.
Praise the Lord, O my soul: and forget not all his benefits;
Who forgiveth all thy sin: and healeth all thine infirmities;
Who saveth thy life from destruction: and crowneth thee with mercy and loving-kindness; O praise the Lord, all ye his hosts: ye servants of his that do his pleasure.
