From Promptuarii musici (vol. 2), 1612.
Lyrics: St. Gregory (adapted)
Alleluia.
O taste, and see, how gracious the Lord is.
If ye taste not, ye shall not know His pleasantness.
But from the vault of your heart touch the bread of life, so that, having proved His sweetness, ye shall have the strength to love Him.
Those who feast call again and again in a voice of exultation at the table of the Lord.
Alleluia.
