Tye was an enthusiastic participant in the Edwardian reformation, composing for the newly coined English liturgy. The current text of Psalm 113 is close, but not identical, to Coverdale's translation.
Lyrics: Psalm 113, vv. 1-6,8

Praise the Lord, ye children: praise the name of the Lord.
Blessed be the name of the Lord: from this time forth for evermore.
The Lord's name be praised: from the east unto the west.
The Lord is high above all nations: and his glory is above the heavens.
Who is like unto the Lord our God, which hath his dwelling on high: and yet humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven and earth?
He raiseth up the weak out of the dust: and lifteth the poor out of the mire.
He maketh the barren woman to keep house: and to be a joyful mother of children.
So be it. Amen.
