Lyrics: Anon

So this nun, hauled before the abbess
With a swollen belly, addresses her complaint,
Saying she'd been taken by force,
And had been too weak against her stepfather.
The abbess asks "So why didn't you,
Experiencing his abuse, raise any hue and cry?".
"It was one evening in the cloisters", says the informant,
"Where we were told we must observe the rule of silence".
