A motet for Christmas Day published in Opus sacrarum cantionum, Louvain, 1576.
Lyrics: John 1: 14,1
Verbum caro factum est et habitavit in nobis
et vidimus gloriam ejus,
gloriam quasi unigeniti a Patre,
plenum gratiae et veritatis.
In principio erat verbum, et verbum erat apud Deum,
et Deus erat verbum, plenum gratiae et veritatis.
That Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
and we saw the glory thereof,
as the glory of the only begotten Son of the Father,
full of grace and truth.
In the beginning was the Word, and that Word was with God,
and that Word was God, full of grace and truth.
Verbum caro factum est et habitavit in nobis
