Lyrics: Isaiah 53: 4,5
(Christus) vere languores nostros ipse tulit, et dolores nostros ipse portavit;
et nos putavimus eum quasi leprosum, et percussum a Deo, et humiliatum.
Ipse autem vulneratus est propter iniquitates nostras; attritus est propter scelera nostra:
disciplina pacis nostrae super eum, et livore ejus sanati sumus.
Surely he (Christ) hath borne our infirmities, and carried our sorrows;
yet we did judge him, as plagued, and smitten of God, and humbled.
But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was broken for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed.
