Scio enim quod redemptor meus vivit, et in novissimo die de terra surrecturus sum:
et rursum circumdabor pelle mea, et in carne mea videbo Deum Salvatorem meum:
quem visurus sum ego ipse, et oculi mei conspecturi sunt, et non alius:
reposita est haec spes mea in sinu meo.
For I am sure that my Redeemer liveth, and he shall stand the last on the earth:
and though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet shall I see God in my flesh:
whom I myself shall see, and mine eyes shall behold, and none other for me:
though my reins are consumed within me.
